PARISH COUNCIL: Chairperson: John Geisen (859) 525-6126 EMAIL Meetings: 8 times per year. Membership: Appointed by the pastor. Purpose: The Parish Council not only assists the Pastor with administrative and policy-making procedures, but also assesses parish needs and helps implement programs to better meet those needs. It serves as a channel of communication between laity, clergy, and the total parish community. There are nine members. Three members are appointed each year for a three-year term. |

FINANCE COUNCIL: Chairperson: Jean Robison (858) 393-0301 EMAIL Meetings: Monthly. Membership: Appointed by the Pastor. Purpose: Members of this council give financial advice to the Pastor. They meet regularly to prepare and review the parish's budget. The Council reports, as needed, the financial situation of the parish especially in providing an "end-of-year" report. Members must have experience in accounting and/or finance. |

BOARD OF TOTAL CATHOLIC EDUCATION (B.O.T.C.E.): DIVIDED INTO TWO COUNCILS Meetings: Quarterly. Membership: Appointed by the Pastor. Purpose: The Board of Total Catholic Education (B.O.T.C.E.) is an advisory body of the Parish that supervises educational programs at Mary, Queen of Heaven Parish, subject to such regulations that proceed from the Diocesan Board of Education. The Board shall be responsible for the total Catholic education of the Parish and is responsible for developing policies towards this purpose that comply with the spirit and intent of the policies of the Diocesan Board of Education. STEWARDSHIP COUNCIL: Chairperson: Dan Moser (859) 341-8732 EMAIL Meetings: Quarterly. Membership: Appointed by the Pastor. Purpose: The Stewardship Council seeks to promote the philosophy that, as Christian stewards, we receive God's gifts gratefully, cultivate them responsibly, share them in love and justice with others, and return them with increase to the Lord. The Stewardship Council also consists of two sub-committees, the Offertory Committee and the DPAA Committee. |
